Boatopia's site wide cancellation policy is that any cancellation made 48 hours prior to the rental start date and time will receive a full refund. Any cancellations after 48 hours prior to the rental start date and time will not receive a refund of the deposit and will be charged the full rental amount.
In the case of mechanical damage that might make the availability and delivery of a watercraft rental impossible: the renting dealer reserves the right to switch your reservation to another watercraft rental that is available and that you (the renter) agrees to OR to cancel the reservation without a penalty.
If you need to cancel a booking, you can do so by clicking on the Cancel Booking button located on the Booking page. If you are within the free cancellation period (minimum of 48 hours prior to the rental period), it will ask you to enter a message for why you are canceling and choose Cancel Booking and Refund deposit.

Your deposit refund will be initiated with the secure payment and may take up to 7 business days.
If you need to cancel your booking after the free cancellation period, you will not receive a refund and you will be charged the full booking fees. Please cancel the booking if you will not show up to let the dealer know you will not be coming.
